This was the first time with Topaz at Wern. She was a champ.

It was a wicked cold day. We started at zero and it was only five when we wrapped up at 11:00. The new pup did great. She flushed seven and returned four. One was yesterdays dead bird. I missed one with a frozen safety...damn. One we just plain missed. All in all it was a good day. Twelve birds released, we saw thirteen and bagged nine.
