7 Birds (4 Roosters and 3 Hens)
The weather was wicked. It was 36 degrees and driving rain. In fact Dave was going to go, but wussed out. Almost everyone wussed out. Dale and I were the only outing during our shift. We got one small break, 15-20 minute, from the rain, but other than that it was pretty wet. We dropped the first five birds without issue. Four of the them were running along the pen. After that it was a different story. We went O'for for the next four. We did pick up two more right at the end, but we also watched two more running down the trails and we couldn't get either of them. I think there was a lot more running going on than what we saw.
